ROOSTER

Short film

seeking financing

SYNOPSIS

All that “Rooster”, a willful fourteen-year-old, wants is “real love” and to get behind the wheel of an ‘87 Ford LTD at a demolition derby.  The only thing holding him back, is a perilous life as a street hustler, avoiding the authorities and caring for his mentally ill father, while wrestling with the fact that Rooster himself was born a girl.

HANNAH MOSQUEDA

Underdog. Anti-hero.

Fearlessly loyal and uncompromising. He'll go bare knuckles for what he believes in.  There's nothing he wants more than love and respect, and he won't let an unforgiving life on the streets take that away from him.
