SYNOPSIS

All that “Rooster”, a willful fourteen-year-old, wants is “real love” and to get behind the wheel of an ‘87 Ford LTD at a demolition derby. The only thing holding him back, is a perilous life as a street hustler, avoiding the authorities and caring for his mentally ill father, while wrestling with the fact that Rooster himself was born a girl.

Her short film, "Strange Men", was selected for multiple film festivals in the United States and Europe and was featured as a Vimeo pick of the week, while her first lead feature performance in "Gutterbug" went on to win the Grand Jury prize at Dances With Films in 2019.
