All that "Rooster," a willful fourteen-year-old, wants is real love and to get behind the wheel of an '87 Ford LTD at a demolition derby. The only thing holding him back is a perilous life as a street hustler, avoiding the authorities and caring for his mentally ill father — while wrestling with the fact that Rooster himself was born a girl.
Kyle's screenwriting has garnered awards and recognition at various international competitions, including the PAGE International, Austin International Film Festival and Script Pipeline.
Once all stages of production are complete, ROOSTER will be hitting the film festival circuit, seeking to compete in various festivals around the world, including the esteemed Sundance and Cannes film festivals.
